How does automatic toll payment via MOVE-IZI work?

The A24 uses e-TOL via number plate recognition. Cameras on overhead gantries above the road register your number plate on every passage. If your number plate is active with MOVE-IZI, MOVE-IZI processes the payment automatically based on that registration. You do not need to do anything yourself after the one-time registration.

Here is how it works step by step:

1. You create an account with MOVE-IZI.
2. You add your number plate (or multiple number plates) to your account.
3. You link a payment method.
4. From that moment on, toll is automatically settled for every passage on the A24.

No additional costs on top of the official rate

Via MOVE-IZI you pay only the officially established e-TOL rate. There are no additional service charges, no subscription fees and no administration costs. The current rates are €1.57 per passage for light vehicles (up to and including 3,500 kg maximum permissible mass) and €9.49 per passage for heavy vehicles (above 3,500 kg). In your MOVE-IZI account you will find an overview of all your passages on the A24. Per passage you can see the date, time, vehicle and amount charged. This gives you an up-to-date overview of your toll costs at all times, useful for your own records or for business expense claims.

What if you sometimes take the A24 and sometimes take a detour?

MOVE-IZI only processes passages where you actually used the A24. If on a given day you choose a toll-free alternative route and your number plate is not registered, nothing is charged. You only pay for the passages you actually made on the A24.

No more payment reminders

If you do not pay via e-TOL.nl within 72 hours of a passage, and you are not registered with a provider such as MOVE-IZI, you will receive a payment reminder with €9.00 in administration costs from e-TOL. If that reminder is also not paid, an additional fine of €35.00 may be imposed. With the automatic payment service from MOVE-IZI, you never risk forgetting a payment or incurring unnecessary additional costs. Every passage is processed directly and automatically.

Suitable for both private individuals and businesses

MOVE-IZI is available for private and business users. As a private individual, you register your number plate for automatic payment of your passages. As a business user or transport company, you manage multiple vehicles in a clear account and track toll costs per vehicle. This gives you a current and transparent picture of your organisation’s toll expenditure on the A24.
