e-TOL on the A24: paying per vehicle

On the A24 Blankenburg Connection you pay toll for each vehicle per trip. The rates are:

  • Light vehicles (up to and including 3,500 kg): €1.57 per trip
  • Heavy vehicles (over 3,500 kg): €9.49 per trip

No additional toll is charged for trailers and semi-trailers. The rates are adjusted annually based on inflation.

If you do not pay on time, you will receive a payment reminder from e-TOL with €9.00 in administrative costs.

Managing multiple number plates via one MOVE-IZI account

Via MOVE-IZI you register all your business number plates once in a single account. As soon as a registered vehicle passes the A24, the toll is processed automatically. You do not need to do anything per trip.

This is particularly useful for companies with multiple vans, lease cars or lorries that regularly use the A24. Via your account you always have an overview of all trips and costs per number plate.

Do you have vehicles in both the light and heavy category? MOVE-IZI processes this automatically based on the number plate. You do not need to set anything up separately: the system determines the correct rate automatically.

Payment options for business use

MOVE-IZI offers two payment options:

  • Prepaid: you load credit in advance per vehicle, manually or automatically
  • Pay later: you drive first and pay afterwards via direct debit or credit card

With the pay later option, depending on your chosen payment method, you receive a weekly or monthly invoice.

For both options: you only pay the official toll amounts, with no extra costs.

Cost management: recharging toll costs per project or client

Transport and service companies with multiple vehicles on the A24 can easily assign toll costs to projects or clients. In your MOVE-IZI account you can see per number plate how many trips were made and when. This overview can be exported directly for your invoicing or mileage tracking system.

Please note: the A24 does not fall under the national heavy goods vehicle levy that has applied to public roads since 1 July 2026. The e-TOL on the A24 is a separate charge. For vehicles over 3,500 kg you pay €9.49 per trip, separate from the HGV levy.

Overview and administration: everything in one account

Via your MOVE-IZI account you have access to all toll trips per number plate, including date, time and amount. This overview is useful for your business administration and for recharging travel costs to departments or employees.

No extra costs via MOVE-IZI

MOVE-IZI does not charge any additional service costs on top of the official toll rate. Whether you register one or ten number plates, the cost per trip remains equal to the official rate.

Time saving in practice

Without automatic payment, someone has to track for each vehicle and each trip whether the toll has been paid on time. With a fleet of five vehicles driving on the A24 every day, that quickly amounts to around a hundred trips per month.

With MOVE-IZI this is no longer necessary: all trips are processed automatically and displayed clearly in the account.
